Oh, tell you guys something
During lunch, me and colleague went to starbuck(located
at the ground floor of our office tower) to
order coffee for our tea-break tomorrow.
Me : Hi(with a smile, the counter gal looked up with a
straight face), can I order 8 Dark Berry Mocha ice-blended, 5
coffee of the day and 2 hot toffee nut mocha. Can you deliver to
our office tomorrow at 3.30pm ? xxx company...thank you!!!
Counter staff : ....... (straight face looking at her
register)
Me : (Waiting to pay up)
Counter staff : ....... (frown)
Me : Err....you want me to repeat my order ?
Counter saff : (shake head)..... Total $xxx
Me hand over the cash to the gal, took the receipt and walk off
to look at the starbuck accessories....
A group of australian ladies went up the counter and guess
what, the gal who served us just now, greeted the group of
australian ladies with a BIG SMILE and "Good afternoon, may i help
you?"
We watched the counter gal served the group of australian with
smile, "thank you", "its ok, take your time", "oh, maybe you
can try this..."
Me and my colleage went "WTF"...
Double standard lor....
We told ourselves, this will be the last time we will order from
them....
